Register: You do not have to register in order to browse our website or make a donation. However, in order to create a campaign, you will need to register and provide a name, email address and a password that you select. If you register, we will use your registration information to identify who you are, communicate with you, and otherwise administer your use of the website.
If you create a campaign, in addition to your registration information, we may collect additional information, such as a contact name and address, your lawyer’s name and address, and information about your campaign. Only the information about your campaign will be visible to others on the website.
Online Donations: If you make a donation, we may use the name and email address collected when you register in order to facilitate and communicate with you about your donation. Your name and email address may also be provided to the Campaign Creators whose campaigns you’ve contributed to if you’ve requested an official donation receipt or a reward from the Campaign Creator or if you’ve requested to receive emails from the Campaign Creator. However, only your first name and last initial will be visible on the website as a backer of the campaign.
Newsletter: We may collect your name and email address in order to send you the JusticeFundr email newsletter. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter by following the instructions at the bottom of each of our emails.
We may also offer you the opportunity to sign-up to receive email newsletters from Campaign Creators. You will need to contact the Campaign Creator for information about your unsubscribe options.
Forums: You may interact with Campaign Creators and other users of our website on our public forums. Your comments, suggestions or feedback may be visible on our website along with your first name and last initial. Please remember that any information that you provide in these comment areas is accessible to all users of the website, and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose any personal information about yourself or anyone else. We may use your comments, suggestions or feedback to monitor and/or improve our website.
Contests: When you enter a contest or participate in a promotion, we may collect your name, address, phone number, email address, and other information you provide. We use this information to administer your participation in the contest or promotion.
